How are suppliers mentored and trained to ensure they are ready to compete in the hospital environment?




Dr. Glenn Croxton

A Detroit native, Dr. Glenn Croxton began his professional career as Deputy Purchasing Agent for Highland Park General Hospital.  He later held the position of Purchasing Manager for a mid size HMO in Detroit, Michigan before joining the international staffing firm of Kelly Services as Purchasing Manager. Dr. Croxton currently serves as the Director of Procurement and Vendor Compliance for Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and is an adjunct professor in the School of Business Administration at Baker College, Flint Michigan.

Dr. Croxton serves as board Secretary of WAY Academy, a Charter School in Southwest Detroit. He is also a board member of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) serving as co-chair of the Certification Committee. Dr. Croxton is a member of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit, Inc. and chairs the Health & Wellness committee.

Dr. Croxton received a Bachelors degree in Public Administration from Ferris State University, a Masters degree from Central Michigan University in Public Administration and Doctorate in Health Administration also from Central Michigan University.
