The Global Shortage of Skilled Workers

The world is facing a global shortage of approximately 95 million skilled workers within the next five years. Today, the participation of the US labor-force is hovering around 62.9 percent, which is the lowest rate since 1978.

Dr. Bill CastellanoDr. Bill Castellano, author of Practices for Engaging the 21st Century Workforce: Challenges of Talent Management and Associate Dean, Executive and Professional Education at Rutgers University, will explain today’s “new normal” of the shrinking pool of skilled workers, and will address how companies can included enterprising methods to recruit and engage the shrinking workforce.
